That’s right, another chapter of your favorite plucky British manga character is out. I say that ironically. This time we have Sasamoto longing for Haji like a pint of Guinness, naturally he tracks her down to her place of work like a right old creep. You gotta feel sorry for the poor guy.
With the plan gone slightly sideways it’s up to the group to rescue the girls and get everyone out safe and sound. Actually do like the character development for Yama in this chapter as he actually does think it over quite realistically, though I do think he should have stuck by his original judgment. Would have spiced the story up some more and made more sense thematically.
We Walking Dead now. Jokes aside the group find out the teachers locked the students inside the gym but a few managed to survive. Naturally our heroes plan to save them and naturally something goes wrong.
With the gang now safe and sound in the shelter, it’s time for them to decide their next course of action: Tokyo! Most likely ground zero at this point with the highest concentration of crazies. However, they get a smoke signal from a nearby district and they run to the rescue or suicide as one guy puts it.
With the duo arriving at the house we are introduced to the new characters that will be appearing. Two little owl girls which I hope is a reference to the 1987 slasher film Stage Fright which I employ you all to see.
Also appearing is the families mother who ran away from the island but came back to resurrect the grandmother. Not sure why she was needed though considering they were already on their way to bring her back but whatever. She’s also a Nun for some reason but I’m sure we’ll get to that eventually.
