With Kikuko going on a “date” with some bloke, things start to go all LifeForce as she sucks the life clean right out of him. Well, not all of it seeing as he comes back to get even for his lost memories.
It’s really been a while since the last chapter, meh. This time Koichi is at home and keeps hearing noises from next door and hits the wall when he finally has enough. Then he gets a visit from some really ugly old lady which I guess is meant to be some kind of metaphor or something though I really don’t care enough to think at all. Anyway enjoy the chapter.
Now this was an interesting chapter and the first of a three part story. Doctor Mordrid revives what I like to imagine is a letter from a good friend of his asking for his assistance. Once again Mordrid finds himself in a sticky situation as he finds a woman trapped inside a crystal, except it’s no ordinary woman…it’s Lilith.
Now this was a cool chapter to work on as I spent the better good part of the afternoon researching Lilith and relevant Bible related things. Went to a bunch of Jewish religious sites and even ended up on a feminist essay on Lilith on how she was some strong woman who needed no man which gave me a good chuckle. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.
Looks like things are getting gruesome in Killing Morph. Madoka and Honda go to where she thought she saw someone getting killed and low and behold she was right. With the street killer still in jail an Madoka thinking she’s seeing him, just who actually did this?
Yup, it’s that time again! I almost didn’t get this finished for today but luckily I did, anyways this chapter adapts parts of the first and second episode. Seeing as the opening of the first episodes wasn’t in the first chapter of the manga, most of what happened gets covered here in a shorter fashion. Anyway I am really liking the art so far, when I heard it was in morning magazine I didn’t have high hopes but it has actually grown on me. I’m really liking it and I hope you are too, until next time.
This time on Backstreet Girls they get visited by a popular Idol manager who wants to help them succeed to reach stardom. This chapter also marks the first time they are called Backstreet Girls, the name comes from the theater they play in because it’s in the backstreets of Akihabara.
